I saw your thread about commenting on gallery items etc and decided it'd be best if I post here instead because I'm not sure if I can advertise groups in the forums.

It's quite a hectic place, Minitokyo: the truth is, you need friends for people to comment (yes, it sucks, but that's the reality) - or rather, people watching you. On top of that doujinshi is a part of minitokyo that's kinda overlooked.
That doesn't mean there's no hope, or that you should run out and get people to watch you (because the more people who watch you, the more expensive it'll be to upload your works). It's just a fact that the majority of Mt people are leechers--- they download... and yet they don't comment.

As a suggestion, it would be a great idea if you joined a group such as the one below:

When you make a submission, you can get active in that group, post your links, comment on other doujinshi works, and get comments back. It's a rather nice group with lots of members all for doujinshi

I hope that can generate some comments for you

Hmmm. With the colouring it's just important about getting the colours right more than the skill itself. I can provide you some links on vectoring, but for the colours it's either up to your imagination or taking it from an existing scan of the same character. I usually do that, but the colours seem really strange for a reason. In that case I just go to Mode > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and play around with it until I get it right

Below are a few vector tutorials that should be sufficient to teach you on the pentool (that is if you don't know it well enough ) Otherwise it's really just vectoring
